I Had a Theft Claim And My Insurance Brokers Say That It Goes Against Me. Is This Correct?

Unfortunately, this is correct. Unless, they have caught the thieft and prosecuted him for the damages, the claim will go against you. Which means if you didn't have protected no claims bonus, you will lose some of it.

If I Make A Very Small Claim, Will I Have To Pay The Excess?

It doesn't matter how big or small the claim is. You will still need to pay the excess. One of the main reason of having an excess is to stop people from making small claims. Click here for more information on Bike Insurance Policy Excess advice.

How Many Claims Can I Make With Protected No Claims Bonus?

If you have protected no claims bonus, you can have 2 claims in a 5 year period. If you have the 3rd claim within the 5 years, you will automatically lose lose 2 years.

I've Got 7 Years No Claims Bonus (65%) Will I Still Have 5 Years NCB Left After If I Make A Fault Claim?

NO. You will only have 3 years NCB on renewal of your bike insurance. You lose NCB in 2 year steps, but most insurers count 5 years as maximum.

PLEASE NOTE: Some insurers count 4 years as maximum, therefore you will only have 3 years left on your bike insurance renewal.
