Can I Tansfer My Road Tax Disc From One Bike To Another?

No, once DVLA issue a road tax disc to a vehicle, it is NOT transferable to another vehicle.

Can I Get Refund On My Tax Disc If I Sell Or Take My Bike Off The Road?

Yes, you can apply for a refund for the number of months you have remaining on the disc.

Why Do We All Pay Road Tax?

A valid Road Tax disc indicates the following points to the Police;

1> Has the necessary road test certificate - MOT

2> The bike is at least covered for Third Party Insurance

3> The vehicle tax fee has been paid.

4> Gives the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) the opportunity to update and confirm the details on the vehicle and the owner of the vehicle when the motorbike is re-taxed.
